Dr. Victor Hasson graduated from the University of Cape Town in South Africa in 1984. He then moved to Canada where he worked for several different clinics until he decided to open his own in Vancouver in partnership with Dr. Wong. They worked together to create a revolutionary new technique called lateral slit which has significantly improved the quality of hair transplants since its invention.
It is estimated that Dr. Hasson has performed over 7500 hair transplants throughout his career, resorting to both FUT and FUE techniques. He is a member of various associations about hair transplants such as ISHRS, American Hair Loss Association, etc. He also developed his own device in order to perform more accurate incisions on the scalp.
