Dr. Miguel Canales graduated from Stanford and Harvard Universities. He is a pioneer in the clinical development of ARTAS, a robotic procedure which allows to perform hair transplant surgeries. He is the former medical director of Restoration Robotics after which he founded the Silicon Valley Hair Institute in order to offer both FUE transplants with the help of ARTAS and FUT procedures, as well as scalp micropigmentation.
He is a member of ISHRS. Dr. Canales has trained dermatologist, plastic surgeons and hair restoration surgeons on the ARTAS Robotic System throughout the USA, Asia, Europe, and Latin America.
