About your hairstyle
Tight chignons and pony tails can cause traumatic alopecia since they damage the hair shafts and they also cause micro hemorrhages thus leading to the creation of scar tissue (trichomalacia).
The drying process with hairbrush and hairdryer, permanents, etc. can alter the hair structure and damage it.
Haircuts have never modified its growth.
The hairbrush has to have soft and round bristles.
Hairbrushes have to be washed with water and soap on a regular basis.
It’s important to use a high quality non-aggressive shampoo.
The hair can otherwise be damaged.
It’s never advisable to mix two different shampoos since they contain different tensioactive agents.
Over the years different ideas about shampoos have been developed:
-> Up to 15 -20 years ago, people think hair had to be washed just once every 7-15 days to avoid a reactive hyper seborrhea (shampoos at that time were strong indeed);
-> Today it is proved that the frequency you wash your hair with doesn’t influence the production of sebum so we suggest that you wash your hair at least once a week if you have dry or normal hair and once every two or three days if you have greasy hair, but always with very delicate shampoos.
